Compensation Payouts

What can you do to maximise your compensation payout? Well firstly, it’s knowing where you stand legally that will give you the advantage.

By seeking the advice of a compensation lawyer (or personal injury lawyer) you may find out all your rights and entitlements to legal compensation.

A compensation lawyer (or personal injury lawyer) is a legal claims handler that has the ability to negotiate a much better compensation payout for you.  You can today;

  • Obtain free legal advice
  • Find out if you need a lawyer
  • Find out how you may benefit by having a compensation lawyer represent you
  • Then, if your case qualifies a compensation lawyer may take it on a no win no fee basis.

Filling out claims forms i.e. for CTP or Worker's Compensation is just the beginning. A lawyer can request for all sorts of additional items and have the ability to negotiate and settle the claim. A lawyer will tell you everything, an insurance company may not and do everything they can to minimise a payout as this is in their best interest.

Compensation lawyers will:

  • Prepare your claim with supporting documentation
  • List a schedule of items to claim
  • Arrange the necessary independent medical reviews
  • Present your claim to the insurance company
  • Arrange the best possible settlement

It is the compensation lawyer who prepares and negotiates the best who will get the best possible result for you. You need one who you can talk to and charge reasonably to ensure your compensation payout is maximised.

Obtaining compo from an insurance company can prove a difficult task to say the least but appointing a lawyer can help you obtain a sufficient compensation claim. Some people might think that they should just accept the compensation payout offered from Worker’s Compensation, othe CTP insurer but the most important thing is; to get a second opinion. Australian injury compensation is there to support injured victims, for any losses or expenses that they incur but also for pain and suffering.

Compensation payouts vary considerably - no case is black and white. You need to have your case fully reviewed by compensation lawyers who can advise you of all your rights and entitlements to Legal Compensation.

Establish where you stand legally. If you know your rights to legal compensation you can be in a much better position.

Remember, never to sign any offer of a compensation claim (compensation payout) that has been offered directly by the insurer ALWAYS get legal advice from a compensation lawyer FIRST.

A compensation lawyer can assist you by offering free legal advice and if your case qualifies, may take your case on a ‘no win no fee’ basis so it won’t cost you anything to make a claim.

Do be careful. There are many lawyers out there who offer ‘no win no fee’ arrangements but charge premiums to cover their risk or still charge certain fees if the case is lost, in our opinion this in not ‘no win no fee’. Always ask exactly what their ‘arrangement’ means.

A legal claims handler (or compensation lawyer) will be able to assess your comp claim and advise you of your options for obtaining Australian injury compensation.
